During the half term holidays, some local children joined forces with the Bowling Club, on the corner of our park and had a wonderful time. Green fingered bowlers helped the children plant the bulbs and also provided welcome post planting refreshments.
Lancaster Road in Brighton saw Get Growing (http://www.getgrowing.org.uk) organise a BIG BULB PLANT on Sunday 6th November with daffodils, tulips and crocuses.
Bulb Planting on Church Street

We are going to be tidying up the planters on Church Street this Sunday from 9am. The Big Bulb Plant have donated 250 bulbs and the nice people at Tidy Planet are giving us some compost. The Rotary Club of Cowbridge will be participating in planting 2500 Crocus at the local park, assisted by pupils of the comprehensive school.
At the same time at the newly built Comprehensive school, the students there will also plant 2500 crocuses.
