RIBI is working with The Eden Project and the International Flower Bulb Centre (IBC) in Holland to plant purple crocus bulbs from the beginning of October so they will be in flower for Rotary Day – 23 February 2011.

Narcissus ‘February Gold’ has been crowned Spring Flowering Bulb of the Year 2011 by a panel of gardening experts this June in London.

All the hard work planting bulbs for The Big Bulb Plant in autumn is paying off now, as communities who got together to dig in last year can now see swathes of colourful daffodils and tulips bursting into colour all around them.
