The Big Bulb Plant - it’s bloom time!
All the hard work planting bulbs for The Big Bulb Plant in autumn is paying off now, as communities who got together to dig in last year can now see swathes of colourful daffodils and tulips bursting into colour all around them. Communities all across the UK - cities, villages, schools, clubs and town councils got involved with The Big Bulb Plant, and the results have been fabulous. Lots of bright colourful bulb flowers are now adorning the streets for people to enjoy, and a reminder that spring is here.
Thanks to this success of the campaign The International Flower Bulb Centre and The Eden Project are gearing up for a bigger and better Big Bulb PLant this autumn, hoping to get more and more people involved, and to make colouring your community a yearly get together event.
